The following download control options apply to all sites. Sites opened after the setting is changed will always reflect the new setting. Sites opened before the setting is changed may or may not reflect the new setting. These settings also apply to IE or any other browsers based on IE rendering engine.

Flash Animation You need have administrator's privilege to change this option. When this option is off, all Flash ActiveX animation will be disabled. Please notice that when you turn this option back on, site windows that are already open will not reflect the new setting, i.e., they will still have Flash disabled. When you turn off this option, sites that are already open may popup a message dialog complaining "ActiveX is not enabled....". Just ignore it. You won't see such messages for sites that are opened after the option is turned off. |
Break favorites menu into multiple columns. This option helps solve the favorites menu bug in win98 when the favorites list is too long at the first level.
Show an additional menu item with the title of "Open All Favorites" in each level of the favorites menu. Click the "Open All Favorites" menu item will open all the pages in the corresponding favorites folder.
Leave this option off if your side mouse buttons already work! Otherwise, try turning it on to see whether it will make the side buttons work. This option is kept for compatibility with different types of side-button mice.
Automatically check newer version at startup. Only retrieve http://$ProductHomepage/sbrowser/version.txt to check for newer versions. It's a 4-byte file and doesn't cost your bandwidth. Don't relate $ProductName to spyware because of this!
Clean all trace (history, cache, temp files, etc) when $ProductName exits. It may take $ProductName a little while to exit if you turn on this option.
Turning on this option will retrieve and display the site favorite icons in the favorites menu. It will increase the delay before the favorites menu is shown.
